If you haven’t, there’s still time in 2009 to give it some thought.<\/p>\n

Call it a resolution — call it a plan, but it’s important to look at next year and decide what you’ll make happen with your writing.<\/p>\n

*\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 *\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 *<\/p>\n

I could come up with a list of how much money I want to make writing in 2010, what kinds of articles I’d like to get back to selling, or other writing plans, but I like keeping my big plans simple.<\/p>\n

I have two writing goals for 2010:<\/p>\n

  1. Finish my third novel by February or March.<\/li>\n
  2. Have an agent by October 1.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    That’s it!<\/p>\n

    If you don’t share them here, share them with friends or family. When you tell people what you’re going to do, it’s much harder to back out.<\/p>\n
