The bit at 2:30 in -- with the knife...kinda brilliant in its own stupid way. Just the look on the demon actor's face throughout. Again. And again...and again...and again... They did a good job with the spoon damage hits makeup. I don't know how I missed this, but I'm glad I now know it exists. Willard and Jeepers Creepers I've seen. I totally forgot to mention Jeepers Creepers. The first 30-40 minutes of the first one is just good, creepy fun. I've heard of Cabin Fever, but haven't seen it. Unrest is totally new to me, so thanks for a couple suggestions! As for Duel, I've seen it. Richard Matheson stuff is always good by me. And he spawned a snazzy writer in Richard Christian Matheson, whose <i>Scars and Other Distinguishing Marks</i> hit me when I read it when I really started writing. Particularly a story called "Red," which to this day, just might be the most devastating thing I've ever read. A totally different kind of horror, that one... Just watched The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon. The bit at 2:30 in — with the knife…kinda brilliant in its own stupid way.
